What is Lash Lift?
A Lash Lift is a semi-permanent treatment that curls and lifts your natural lashes from the base, opening up the eyes and creating the look of longer, fuller lashes — think of it as a perm for your lashes. Over about 40 minutes, Aundrea lifts your own lashes into a flattering upward curl that lasts for weeks, with no extensions, glue-on strips, or daily curler required. Your lashes are cleansed and combed onto a silicone shield sized to the curl you want, then a gentle lifting solution is applied to reshape them, followed by a setting step to lock the new curl and a nourishing conditioner to finish. You relax with your eyes closed throughout; it is comfortable and calm. The result is immediate — lashes look visibly lifted, longer, and more open-eyed — and there is no real downtime, though you keep lashes dry and makeup-free for the first 24 hours while the curl sets. A lift typically lasts several weeks, following your natural lash growth cycle, so many clients rebook every six to eight weeks. Honest limits: a lift reshapes the lashes you already have — it curls and lifts but does not add color or new length, and results depend on your natural lash length and thickness. If you want darker definition too, the Lash Lift + Tint pairs both. A patch test may be recommended; your provider confirms suitability, and individual outcomes vary.
How long does a lash lift last?
Usually several weeks, following your natural lash growth cycle — many clients rebook every six to eight weeks as new lashes come in. Individual results vary with your lash type.
Is it different from lash extensions?
Yes — a lift works with your own lashes, curling and lifting them, with no extensions or glue and no fills to maintain. It is lower-maintenance and looks natural, though it enhances the length you already have rather than adding new length.
What is the aftercare?
Keep lashes dry and makeup-free for the first 24 hours while the curl sets — no steam, swimming, or rubbing. After that, avoid oil-based products near the lashes and treat them gently. Your provider will give you the full guidance.
Does it damage my natural lashes?
When performed by a trained provider with proper timing and aftercare, a lash lift is designed to be gentle on your natural lashes. A patch test may be recommended, and your provider confirms suitability first.
Can I wear mascara with a lash lift?
Yes, after the first 24 hours — though many clients find the lift gives enough of an open-eyed look that they wear little to none. Use a water-based mascara and remove it gently.
