BioRePeel Duo — Gold Spot Upgrade
60 minutes
What is BioRePeel Duo — Gold Spot Upgrade?
The BioRePeel Duo Gold Spot Upgrade is a targeted add-on to the standard BioRePeel face peel: after the full-face resurfacing pass with the standard formula, Amber layers a higher-strength gold formula onto stubborn, localized spots. Where the standard face formula is built around 35% TCA for all-over resurfacing, the gold formula runs a higher TCA concentration and is intended for thicker skin and more resistant localized areas — so it's applied only to the specific spots that need more, not across the whole face. The idea is precision: give the general skin surface the resurfacing it needs while giving stubborn areas a concentrated boost in the same visit. A session runs about 60 minutes. After cleansing and degreasing and confirming candidacy, the standard BioRePeel face peel is performed, then the gold formula is placed on the targeted spots, and a soothing, hydrating step with SPF finishes the treatment. Sensation is a tingling, warmth, or mild stinging during application, often a touch more noticeable over the gold-treated spots. Downtime stays minimal to light — skin may look slightly pink for a few hours and feel tight, with light flaking possible over the following days, sometimes a bit more over the spot-treated areas. Whether the gold upgrade is appropriate is the provider's call: it's not for every skin, and localized higher-strength application is decided at consultation. Honest framing: it supports the appearance of stubborn localized concerns and overall resurfacing — it is not spot removal, and real change builds with a series.
What's the difference between the standard face peel and the Gold Spot Upgrade?
The standard face peel uses the 35% TCA face formula across the whole face. The Gold Spot Upgrade adds a higher-strength gold formula, applied only onto stubborn localized spots after the standard peel. Your provider decides whether the gold upgrade is appropriate for you.
Is the gold formula stronger?
Yes — it runs a higher TCA concentration and is intended for thicker skin and more resistant localized areas, which is why it's applied only to targeted spots rather than the whole face. That's also why the provider confirms candidacy before using it.
Will the gold spots peel more?
Downtime stays minimal to light overall, but the gold-treated spots can flake a little more than the rest of the face over the following days for some clients. Don't pick any flaking, and follow the aftercare your provider gives you. Reactions are individual.
Does the gold upgrade remove spots?
It's designed to support the appearance of stubborn localized areas and overall resurfacing — not to remove anything. Real change builds across a series, and outcomes are individual. Your provider sets honest expectations at consultation.
Does it hurt more than the standard peel?
You'll feel a tingling, warmth, or mild stinging during application, often a touch more noticeable over the higher-strength gold spots. It usually passes quickly and there's no needle pain in this treatment.
How is candidacy decided?
The higher-strength gold formula isn't right for every skin, so whether it's used, and where, is the provider's call at consultation and skin analysis. Not every client is a candidate for the upgrade.
