A filler is HA gel placed under the skin to physically replace that lost volume, so you see the result immediately rather than weeks later, and because it is the same base molecule your body recognizes, it integrates and is gradually broken down over months. What are dermal fillers made of, and how long do they last?
They are hyaluronic acid, a water-binding sugar your skin already produces, formulated into a smooth gel. House of Rose uses the Juvederm and RHA HA families. Longevity depends on product and area: cheeks with Voluma XC up to about 24 months, lips and lower face with Ultra XC up to about a year, and the RHA Collection up to about 15 months. What is the difference between RHA and Juvederm?

Are these products FDA-approved?
Yes, for their labeled uses. Juvederm Voluma XC is FDA-approved for cheek and midface volume, Juvederm Ultra XC is FDA-approved for lip and perioral augmentation, and RHA 2, RHA 3, and RHA 4 are FDA-approved for dynamic facial wrinkles and folds. What is the downtime, and does it hurt?
Plan for a few days of possible swelling, tenderness, redness, and occasional bruising; lips can swell noticeably for 24 to 72 hours, so many people book around a visible event.
