Microneedling

Treatment Overview

What is Microneedling?

Microneedling is the process of creating thousands of tiny, controlled microchannels in the skin to trigger its natural repair-and-renewal response — building new collagen and elastin that can soften the appearance of fine lines, scarring, stretch marks, and uneven texture over time. At House of Rose, every microneedling treatment starts from that same idea: controlled micro-injury prompts real, gradual improvement. Your provider selects the specific device and protocol for your goals — the device itself doesn't change what the treatment is doing for your skin, only how it's delivered. Amber, our advanced esthetician, performs every microneedling protocol at House of Rose, matching the tool, depth, and any add-ons to your skin and goals during a private consultation. Microneedling can be performed on nearly any area of the body: face, neck, décolleté, hands, abdomen, back, arms, and thighs — anywhere skin can benefit from the appearance of firmer, smoother, more even texture, or a specific correction like scarring or stretch marks. Most microneedling goals are planned as a series, commonly three to six visits spaced about four to six weeks apart, because collagen remodeling builds gradually over weeks to months rather than in a single visit. The right plan for you, including any serum or PRF add-on, is confirmed at consultation; individual outcomes vary and not every client is a candidate.

Start With What You See

Could Microneedling be right for your concerns?

This treatment may be considered when one or more of these visible concerns match your goals. A consultation confirms whether the technology, timing, and treatment area are appropriate for you.

Aging

As skin ages, it naturally loses collagen and elasticity, leading to fine lines, volume loss, and a duller, uneven texture. Our aging treatments target these visible signs at their source, helping to restore firmness, smooth texture, and revive a healthy, natural glow—so you can feel confident and comfortable in your skin

Acne Scarring

Acne scars respond best to protocols that rebuild collagen where the skin has pitted or thinned. Depending on depth and skin type, we treat scarring with PRF microneedling, advanced BioRePeel combination protocols, or Procell microchanneling — your consultation determines the right path.

Fine Lines & Laxity

Softening lines and firming skin is about two levers: relaxing the movement that creases (neurotoxins) and rebuilding the collagen that holds (microchanneling, PRF, oxygenating facials). Most clients use both, on different schedules.

Sun Damage

Florida sun leaves its signature: dark spots, uneven tone, rough texture. We treat photodamage with targeted BioRePeel protocols — including gold body formula spot treatment for stubborn dark spots — and collagen-stimulating microchanneling.

Stretch Marks

Stretch marks are scars — and they remodel the same way: controlled stimulation plus your body's own growth factors. Our body protocols pair microchanneling with PRF or induced-peel BioRePeel application, priced per treatment zone.

Hyperpigmentation & Dark Spots

Dark spots, melasma, and post-breakout marks all come down to excess pigment sitting where you do not want it. At House of Rose we lift and even tone with resurfacing and collagen-building protocols: BioRePeel, microneedling with brightening serums, Procell microchanneling, and oxygenating facials, chosen for your skin type and the depth of the pigment. Sun-driven discoloration and hormonal melasma respond to different approaches, so your plan is mapped at consultation.

Personalized Candidacy

Who is a candidate for Microneedling?

Microneedling suits adults who want to improve the appearance of fine lines, enlarged-looking pores, dullness, uneven texture, scarring, or stretch marks — on the face or body — and who are comfortable with a short recovery and a planned series rather than a single-visit fix. Your provider selects the specific protocol, and any serum or PRF add-on, that fits your concern, area, and skin history at consultation. Active infection, active acne, a keloid history, recent isotretinoin, blood thinners, pregnancy, and certain conditions mean the provider may postpone or adjust; not every client is a candidate.

Not every client is a candidate for every service. Final treatment combinations and candidacy are confirmed by your licensed provider based on candidacy, contraindications, and local regulations. Outcomes are individual and depend on your skin, candidacy, and consistency.

Common Questions

What is microneedling?

Microneedling is the process of creating thousands of tiny, controlled microchannels in the skin to trigger its own repair-and-collagen response. Over the following weeks, that response can soften the appearance of fine lines, scarring, stretch marks, and uneven texture. Your provider selects the specific protocol for your goals at consultation.

How many sessions will I need?

Most microneedling goals are planned as a series, often three to six visits about four to six weeks apart, then individualized maintenance. Body areas are thicker-skinned and often run a longer series. Your provider recommends the plan after reviewing your concern and how your skin responds.

What areas can be treated?

Nearly anywhere on the face or body: texture, fine lines, and pores on the face; stretch marks, scarring, and crepey texture on the neck, décolleté, hands, abdomen, back, and other zones. Your provider confirms which areas and how many at consultation.

Does it hurt, and what's the downtime?

Most clients describe a vibrating or scratchy sensation, and topical numbing is available. Redness, tightness, and light flaking are common afterward and typically settle within a few days to about a week; deeper or body work can run a bit longer. You'll receive written aftercare.

Can microneedling remove scars or stretch marks?

No treatment should promise removal. Microneedling is designed to improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks, and texture over time by supporting new collagen; results develop gradually and vary by person.

What can I combine with microneedling?

A topical PRF boost made from your own blood (applied on the surface only, never injected), a growth-factor Procell serum, or a BioRePeel layered into the same protocol to amplify resurfacing — your provider recommends what fits your goals.

Is everyone a candidate?

No. Active infection, active acne, a keloid history, recent isotretinoin, blood thinners, pregnancy, and certain conditions may mean postponing or choosing a different approach. Your provider confirms candidacy at consultation.
